George Johnson

George Johnson a mechanic who is now retired owned Johnson's Auto Service for 40 years. Johnson has been retired for the last 15 years and spends his time working on various mechanical projects including lawn mower repair at his garage off South Jackson Street. "I was always good with machinery" Johnson said. He learned how to be a mechanic by volunteering to work for free in auto shops at night after he would leave his daytime job in a factory, later opening his own shop.
